Belt High School students participated in the District Music Festival last week with tremendous success. 15 students received the top "superior" score and qualified for the State Music Festival to be held in Helena on May 6-7. Great job Huskies, good luck at State!
A reminder that students and staff will get a few days off this week and next for Spring Break! There will be no school this Friday, 4/15, and no school on Monday or Tuesday, 4/18 & 4/19.

On 4/7/2022 the band will perform at the University of Providence-University Center at 12:30pm and the choir will perform at the University of Providence-Chapel at 2:30pm. Go Huskies!
Congratulations to our MS basketball teams which wrapped up their seasons this past Saturday. The boys' team took 3rd place in the district while the girls' team brought home 1st place. Great job Huskies!
Students and parents in grades EK-5 are invited to attend the Family Math Night. There will be a math scavenger hunt with a chance to earn prizes and also enjoy a slice of pizza for dinner. The event will be held tonight at the Belt School from 5:30-6:30pm.
The MS girls' team will play the first game of their district tournament this Friday, 4/1/22, at 4:00pm against the Highwood Mountaineers. The girls' tournament will be held in Geyser.
The MS boys' team will play the first game of their district tournament this Friday, 4/1/22, at 5:00pm against the Tri City Titans. The boys' tournament will be held in Stanford.

Congratulations to our Husky teams competing today at the Principal's Cup competition in Simms. Great job placing 4th overall out of 30+ teams and winning the B/C first place trophy. Good work Huskies!
3-5 SKI DAY TOMORROW-
A reminder for 3rd-5th grade parents and students that tomorrow, March 23, is the 3-5 Ski-Day. Remember to dress appropriately and bring sunscreen. The bus will leave at 8:00am and return around 4:00pm.
Please come out and support our music program. The 6-12 grade Spring Concert is March 29 at 7:00pm in the main gymnasium.
Boys' and Girls' MS Basketball pictures will be taken on Thursday, 3/17/2022, at 8:00am. Players need to bring their uniforms and be ready for pictures first thing in the morning. Congratulations to the boy's basketball team on a successful season and bringing home hardware with their 3rd place finish at the State C tournament this past weekend. The boys capped off the season defeating the Melstone Broncs in the consolation game 47-22. Go Huskies!
Rain or shine, come join the fun! Color Run 2022 will be held April 16 sponsored by Belt Close Up students. You can run or walk the 1 mile loop through colorful pops of color and get tie-dyed for a great cause. Registration begins at 9:30am in the Belt School Parking lot, race begins at 10:30am. $25 per person if you preregister, $30 per person same day registration. The Belt cheerleaders and high school students would like for all Husky fans to dress in Hawaiian Luau gear for the Huskies State C basketball game Friday at 4:30 PM. The boys will play the loser of the Roy-Winifred vs. Froid-Med Lake game taking place Thursday night. Come out and support your Huskies and show your Husky spirit! The tournament is being played at the Four Seasons Arena in Gt Falls.
Reagan Jassen, Cadence Graham, and Maren Keaster also won 1st place at Regional Science Fair in the Biological Science Category with their project “Moisture Mania” which explored which moisturizers worked best. Way to go Huskies!

At the Regional Science Fair in Great Falls on Tuesday (3/9) Rogue Roberts, Mak McCoy, and Camree Puppe took 1st place in the 6th grade Biological Sciences category with their project “Dissolving Pills” which explored how quickly different types of pills dissolved in vinegar water. Congratulations !
