A shout out to the following students who made it into the North Central Montana Honor Band and Choir: Luke Highfill, Gracie Watson, and Hattie Bumgarner made the choir. Molly Tingey, Johnny Tingey, Danika Lords, Nate Gill and David Bond all made the band. The musicians will spend November 29 & 30 rehearsing and will then perform a final concert at 6:30pm on November 30 in Choteau.
We also had three students make the All-Northwest Honor Choir: Molly Tingey, Emerson Hoerner, and Olivia King. They will travel to Spokane, WA in March to perform. Congrats to Mr. Wilson and all of these students on receiving this honor.

Congrats to our Huskies! The volleyball team took 2nd place at the District 6C tournament in Simms and will advance to the divisional tournament this coming week in Belt.
Our football team defeated Culbertson and will travel to Thompson Falls next weekend.

The Belt Lady Huskies volleyball team beat Valier last night (3-0) and will face Simms tonight at 6:00 p.m. at the District 6C tournament in Simms.
The football team takes off today for their playoff game in Culbertson Saturday at 1:00 p.m.

The Belt School Halloween Parade is back this fall and spookier than ever! Come by the Main Gym @ 2:15 pm on Friday Oct. 29th to see all of the amazing costumes.
Thank you to the parents and community that came out to support the music program last night at the 6-12th grade Fall Concert. Mr. Wilson and the students did a fantastic job and all sounded great. Ek-5 and 6-12 Christmas Concerts will be held in mid-December.
A big shout out to the Cross Country teams for their performances at the state meet in Missoula this past weekend. The boys' team took home 2nd place overall while the girls' team saw Lindsey Paulson repeat as the state champion, the first time a class C girl has been the back-to-back state champion since 2014-2015. Her time was 19:00.88. Our top placing boys were Asa Jassen taking 2nd with a time of 17:36.08, Clayton Jassen placing 8th, and Bridger Vogl placing 14th. Good job and congratulations!

Pink Out Night is tonight (10/19) at the volleyball game vs. Cascade! Wear pink to show support for Breast Cancer Awareness month. The JV contest begins at 6 pm with the Varsity contest to follow.
Congratulations to the MS VB team who won the District championship on Saturday defeating Dutton/Brady 25-15 and 25-10. The Lady Huskies finished their season undefeated with a 15-0 record!
The Cascade County Sheriff's Office informed the school today (10/7) that they have confirmed the identity of the caller that made the phone threat to the school on Wednesday October 6th. The caller, who lives outside of the area, suffers from mental health issues, and officers are confident the caller does not have the ability to carry out their threat. We understand that this event has been unnerving, however we want to reassure everyone that our students and staff are safe. As a safety precaution, deputies from the CCSO will continue to maintain a presence around campus for the remainder of the week.
Today (10/6) the school went into Secure in Place in response to a phone threat. Law enforcement was contacted and is investigating the incident. It has been deemed by law enforcement that there is no imminent threat to the school and normal school operations can continue tomorrow (10/7). As a safety precaution, law enforcement will have an extra presence around campus.
**Schedule Change**
The Varsity & JV High School Volleyball games for Thursday night (10/7) will be played in Cascade. Cascade will now come to Belt on Oct. 19th for our Senior Night.
This Friday night (10/8) is our rescheduled Luau Night. Make plans to attend the home Varsity football game vs. Shelby @ 7 pm and wear you best Luau gear!
We just received word that the MS Football game scheduled for tomorrow, 10/1/21, has been cancelled. There will not be practice Friday. Boys are off until Monday.
HS Football game at Rocky Boy is still set for 7:00pm.
A reminder that tomorrow, Wednesday 9/29, Belt School will host an Alluvion Health Flu Clinic with flu shots and student immunizations available as well as the following vaccines available to the community: flu, pneumonia, COVID, shingles. Consent forms are necessary and available in the school office.
