6:00/6:15pm: High School Volleyball Scrimmage in the gymnasium
6:45pm: Middle School & High School Football Parent Meeting on the game football field

Eckroth Music will have a booth in the main hall outside the music room at Open House tonight (8/16). They will have instruments available for rental or purchase (or to just try out!) AND various supplies – students can stock up on reeds and cleaning supplies, or get other accessories like stands, mutes, method books and more.
2022 Fun Run sponsored by the Belt Close Up 2023 will be held on Saturday, August 27th at 9:00am in the Belt Park. It is a run/walk 1 mile course with a 2 mile option. The cost is $10 for ages 6 - Adult, ages 5 and under are free.
Registration opens at 8:00am. Participants will receive a pair of sunglasses and a water-filled squirt gun (while supplies last).
Welcome back! Belt Public Schools will be hosting a back to school open house Tuesday, August 16 starting at 5:30pm. Students first day of school is August 23.
The 2022-2023 back-to-school newsletter was mailed out last week and all box holders should have received a copy. Inadvertently, some copies of last year's newsletter were mixed in with the current newsletter. If you did not receive the current copy they are available at the school office. A couple of important dates to be aware of are Open House on August 16 at 5:30pm and the first day of school for students is August 23rd. Below is a map of Drop-Off and Pick-Up Directions. The school building will open for students at 7:30 am. Please contact the school (277-3351) if your child is riding the bus and you are unsure of when your child will be getting picked up or dropped off at their bus stop.
A reminder of the Cascade County Back 2 School Blast that will be taking place today, August 12, from 12:00pm-6:00pm at the Civic Center in Great Falls. The start of a new school year is getting closer! High school sports practices will start this Friday (XC at 6:15am, VB at 7:30am, and FB at 9:00am). Athletes must have paperwork and impact testing done prior to the first practice. Impact testing for 9th and 11th grade, as well as any new students or students who did not impact test last year, will be tonight (Aug 10) in the computer lab. Times are 6:00pm for girls and 7:00pm for boys.
Summer Readers....tomorrow is last Tuesday of summer reading camp! Bring a flashlight or headlamp, a blanket (to make a fort), and brush up on your tic-tac-toe skills! And please remember to bring your journals along :)

Parents of incoming Kindergartners in Fall of 2022- Great Falls is hosting a Safety Town. Safety Town is a week-long, fun program consisting of a miniature town with child-sized houses, crosswalks, and streets. Activities throughout the week teach children safety through songs, guest presentations, and role-playing. The programs covers crossing the street safely, stranger safety, child abuse prevention, how to dial 911, gun safety, safety around dogs, safety on buses, fire safety, and internet safety. It also covers water safety, railroad safety, and playground safety. See the attached flyer for more information.
Today is the students last day of school for the year. Elementary students will have Field Day events starting at 9:00am, parents and community are welcome to come watch. Today is an early-release at 12:31pm. We hope everyone has a fun, safe summer break. Thank you for helping make this year a great one!
Congratulations go out to our track teams for a very successful weekend with both boys' and girls' teams winning Northern C Divisional titles. Good luck next week at the state track meet which will be held at Memorial Stadium in Gt Falls on May 27th and 28th.
Everyone is welcome to come out and enjoy our 6th-12th grade music performances at the Pop Concert tonight at 7:00pm in the main gymnasium. Our music program has had a great year and this concert will consist of fun performances to cap off the school year. Hope to see you there!
