Good luck to our Huskies this week. The Homecoming theme is HUSKIES GOT GAME. Students will be busy with activities all week including painting the B, Class Olympics, daily dress up, parade, bonfire, and games. The VB team will play at home Thursday v. Cascade and Friday v. Fairfield. The XC team travels to Helena on Thursday and our FB team will play at home Friday night v. Harlem. Go HUSKIES!!
The Belt Cheerleaders and Belt Volleyball team will be hosting a Pink Out night for Breast Cancer Awareness on Saturday, October 8th for our home games against Fairfield. Wear pink and support the Huskies!
Come out and support our Huskies this weekend! MS/HS Cross country will be running in Shelby Friday, after a cancelation we were able to pick up Joliet for a home football game Friday night (MS 4:00pm, V 6:30pm) and Saturday our JV Volleyball team is headed to Ft Benton. Good luck and go HUSKIES!

Homecoming Spaghetti Dinner
Don’t cook dinner! Come to the Belt cafeteria instead from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 7 and support the Class of 2023!
Enjoy a large plate of spaghetti, salad, drink, and brownie before of after the homecoming parade and enjoy the football game following the dinner! $7.00 for one plate, $25.00 for a family of 4 or more.
The Belt Federation of Teachers is sponsoring a basket raffle to help fund scholarships for students pursuing education degrees. The cost is $1 per ticket ($5 for 6), tickets will be sold at Parent Teacher Conferences and the Fall Concert. The drawing will be held Nov. 1, you do not need to be present to win. If you would like to donate a basket please contact Mrs. Vogt at the Belt School. Baskets will be on display from Oct. 19-Nov 1st in the school office.
The Annual Flu Shot and Immunization Clinic will be held in the Belt Conference Room on October3, from 10am to noon.
Influenza, including the high dose influenza for individuals 50 years and older, Covid, Covid Booster and shingles will be available.
Cost is 40$ Most insurances will cover the cost. If you wish to have your student immunized, please contact the school ASAP for a permission form.
We must have a copy, front/back, of your insurance card.

9/26/2022- The Huskies MS football will host Choteau at 4:30pm and our HS C & JV volleyball teams will host Ft Benton at 5:00pm.
The Belt Huskies football team will be hosting the Joliet J-Hawks on Friday, Sept. 30. MS plays at 4:00pm and the HS will kickoff at 6:30pm. Come out and support your Huskies!
Rocky Boy has forfeited the Varsity football game this upcoming Friday night (9/16). We will still play a middle school game in Rocky Boy at 4:30 pm on Friday.
A couple of reminders for parents and students: Tonight is EK-5th grade Reading Night on the football field from 5:30-6:30pm. Parents and students are invited to bring a blanket, read a book, and enjoy a sub sandwich. Elementary students attending will take home a free book. ALSO: Wednesday is an early-release for all students at 12:31pm. Staff training will take place from 1:00-4:00pm.
Fiddle Club will start next Tuesday, Sept. 20th, after school. This year there will only be fiddle instruction (no guitar), divided into two classes -- a beginner and a 2nd Year class. We are limiting each class to only 10 students – please sign up in the school office if you are interested. Contact Mr. Wilson for more info!
Elementary Family Reading Night is this upcoming Tuesday (9/13) night from 5:30-6:30 pm on the football field.
T-shirts are on sale now for CAMO NIGHT to celebrate the 1st home football game. Belt plays Fort Benton at 7:00pm, Friday, September 9th. Shirts are $15 each and come in youth and adult sizes. Contact any of the cheerleaders or Mrs. Visocan if you are interested in purchasing a camo Husky t-shirt. GO HUSKIES!!!
Good luck to our Huskies this weekend. Our HS volleyball team will play in the Cascade Showcase Friday and Saturday. Friday they will play Power at 12:30pm, Simms at 2:00pm, Augusta at 4:15pm, and CJI at 5:45pm. (Times are approximate) Our MS and HS cross country team is heading to Cut Bank on Friday. MS will run at 3:30pm and HS at 4:15pm. The football team will play Broadus in Lavina on Saturday. MS will play at 11:00am and the HS will play at 1:00pm. Good luck Huskies!
Due to a cancellation with Hays, the MS and Varsity football teams will now be playing Broadus this Saturday (9/3). The games will be played at Lavina at 11:00 am (Middle School) and 1:00 pm (Varsity). Because the contest will be hosted at a neutral site, all passes will not be accepted for admission to the games.
The new school year is up and running and with that comes school pictures! Belt School pictures will be August 31 (T/TH Early K class will take their pictures Aug. 30). Picture packets should be making their way home with students so keep an eye out for them. You can also order pictures online at inter-state.com/order under Belt School. Please contact the school office if you have questions.
A reminder that the Belt School will return to charging for meals for the 2022-2023 school year. For the past two years during the pandemic school meals have been free for everyone. This year breakfast will cost $1.25 for all students and adults, grades EK-6 lunch is $2.50, grades 6-12 lunches are $2.75, and adult lunches are $3.25. We encourage all families to fill out a free and reduced application. The eligibility window has greatly expanded and more families will qualify. The district's free and reduced rate is also factored into other funding and grant opportunities so please consider applying. Applications are in the school office. Please call the school or stop by the office if you have any questions.
